Yes I do Yes I do
Look out for you
Foolin Me Foolin Me
I only see you on the screen
Now there's nothing in between
Struck by the light of your star
Oh, how to tell if this is real
you've only ever been an actress baby
Foolin me from the start
Breaking hearts through a TV screen
You burn like fire and gasoline
It's one thing, the way you look at me
And it's another thing, the way I'm thinking about you
Drop this act, take one step back
should roll the lights? Girl we could film all night
How can I tell between, the girl I see
and all the other faces from the movie scene?
I only see you on the screen
Now there's nothing in between
Struck by the light of your star
Oh, how to tell if this is real
you've only ever been an actress baby
Foolin me from the start

Joey Dosik is a seriously great songwriter. You can't ignore the references to classic soul but it shouldn't detract from the originality to write a great tune. If you enjoy great American music that has soulful undertones then JD deserves your time, in my opinion he's that good. 60ssoulboy
