Without your ease the subway tangles into knots
Without your smile lampposts reach into the dark
Without your Joie De Vivre the buildings seem to slump
The park seems strange and lonely. Taxis never stop.
This city really misses you, and so do I
This city really misses you, and so do I
City misses you
City really misses you, and so do I
Without your ease the subway tangles into knots
Without your smile lampposts reach into the dark
Without your Joie De Vivre the buildings seem to slump
The park seems strange and lonely. Taxis never stop.
This city really misses you, and so do I

Joey Dosik is a seriously great songwriter. You can't ignore the references to classic soul but it shouldn't detract from the originality to write a great tune. If you enjoy great American music that has soulful undertones then JD deserves your time, in my opinion he's that good. 60ssoulboy
